Food and Drink

The Reuben Dining Hall will be open for self-service breakfast and lunches for most of the year (please see below for further details). Reuben students, Fellows, and staff can purchase food for a discounted rate. 

Menus are available to view here for Reuben members.

Please note we can only take contactless payments.

Weekly dinners will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays during term time, for those that book onto the relevant events.

Monday and Wednesday night meals are also now available to Reuben members and their guests, during termtime and selected other weeks.

Dining Hall and Cafe Opening Times

Breakfast served (College members only):

         Monday-Friday: 8:00 - 10:00

Lunch served:

Monday-Friday: 12:00 - 14:00 (Reuben members, RSL staff and accompanied guests)

The self service cafe will be open for snacks between 8:00-15:00.

Over Summer 2026 (29 June - 11 September), lunch will be served in the Bar and is only open to Reuben members, RSL staff, and their guests.

Weekly dinners available during termtime:

Mondays & Wednesdays: informal meals available to Reuben members and their guests only between 17:30 - 18:45

Tuesdays: available to those who attend Tuesday Talks only

Thursdays: available to those who attend Thursday night dinners only

College Bar

Drinks service at the College Bar is available for Reuben members (and their accompanying guests) at the following times and locations during termtime:

Tuesday: 18:00 - 21:00 (Dining Hall, for Tuesday Talks/DwD event only)
Wednesday: 17:30 - 23:00 (College Bar)
Thursday: 18:30 - 21:30 (Dining Hall, for Thursday Night Dinner only)
Friday: 17:30 - 23:00 (College Bar)

 

The bar only accepts contactless payments.

Christmas break (2 weeks) 20 December - 4 January
Easter break (2 weeks) 30 March - 12 April
Summer break (2 weeks) 15 - 30 August
