Global Challenges Programme

Reuben College has been awarded a $250k grant from the Templeton World Charity Foundation, Inc. to pilot a new programme designed to address some of the most pressing global challenges of our day. The Global Challenges Programme takes an interdisciplinary and impact-driven approach, bringing researchers, innovators, technologists, and policymakers together to workshop solutions to a range of issues.

Generation AI Initiative

In its pilot phase (2024-2026), the Global Challenges Programme is focused on exploring the impact of advanced AI systems on human development. To date, the Programme's work on this topic has culminated in the launch of the 'Generation AI' initiative. Find out more about the initiative and how you can get involved here: Generation AI

“Young people will be creators and consumers of AI in the very near future. It is critical we design systems to support their growth, development, and safety as features of the AI instead of afterthoughts.”
