What's open and when?

Reuben College Easter Closure

The Student Assistance Programme (0800 028 3766) remains available 24/7 throughout closures, including bank holidays. College sub-deans will have emergency College contact numbers – make contact via the Lodge on 01865 616477. Over Easter, the College will be open for reduced hours:

  • Closes at 19:00, Thursday 2 April 2026 (early closure)
  • Open 10:00-18:00, Friday 3 April - Monday 6 April 2026 (inclusive)

College will open at 08:00 on Tuesday 7 April, then will return to normal opening hours.

Many Reuben College Teams (such as the Academic Office and Communications and Events Team) will not be working during the following dates:

  • Friday 3 April - Monday 6 April 2026 (inclusive)

Fixed Closure Dates (University-wide)

University Administration and Services offices will be shut for a fixed closure on:

  • Thursday 2 April - Monday 6 April 2026 (inclusive)

Kitchen Closures

Kitchens will be closed for breakfast, lunch and dinner between:

  • 15:00, Friday 27 March - 8:00, Monday 13 April

University Welfare Services

The Student Welfare and Support Service tends to close over vacation periods.

However, there are other options to access welfare support.
